Anime Role Playing Otaku

Name: Nixie Tanwen, but you can call me Nix.

Age: 16

Weight: ~95 lbs. (severly underweight)

Height: 5'8

Magic/Weapons: I know all forms of magic, but my main focus is on the elements (fire, water, air, earth, lightning..) and alchemy. I can turn almost anything into a weapon, but I mostly use my wand.

Family: I have no living family, they all died on Christmas in a tragic accident when I was six.

History: As mentioned above, my family died in an accident. When I was young my powers were... unpredictable. We were all sitting around the tree, unwrapping resents and taking pictures. My cousin thought it would be fun to try to shoot me with a toy gun he got. Once the shot hit me the tree, everything, and everyone around it was on fire. The rest of the main floor was soon covered in vines while the stairs and the top floor were freezing over. Out of nowhere a huge gust of wind blew through the house, followed by strokes of lightning. I watched in horror as my parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents were burnt, choked by a vine, or frozen. I didn't know what to do, so I ran into the forest that was near our house. I would go there often if I needed a quiet place to myself. As I sat there I watched my childhood home burn through blurry, tear stricken eyes. A local orphanage took me in, where I learned how to control my powers in secret. After about two years one of the nurses came in while I was practising and had me sent to a "school" for "special" children. I escaped no less than once a week only to be caught before I left the grounds. After each of my attempts I was denied food for at least a day and only received barely enough water to keep me alive. They used me as an example for the other "students." I was beaten, poisoned, cut, and tortured both mentally and physically. My stay there lasted about four years. On my 14th birthday they let me go. A few weeks before I stopped resisting. No more escapes, no more screaming, no more fights. I was quiet, compliant, and kept my head down. Apparently my plan worked. They grew accustomed to my resistance, so without it the torture didn't feel the same. From then on I lived in the streets, stealing food and other necessities when I could get away with it. The fact that my appearance keeps changing helps, it's infinitely harder to catch someone when they don't look the same each time. Eventually all the stealing, lying, and cheating had an effect on me. So I've decided to stop. At age 16 my life is now as clean of a slate as it will ever be. I'm ready to start over and make a new name for myself, Nixie Tanwen.

Appearance: My hair changes colour depending on my mood, but I can also control its length and colour myself. My eyes also change depending on what power I'm using and the weather. 

Extra: I'm highly intelligent and have a vast interest in science, medicine, languages, and technology. I also love learning new spells to try.

Magic/Weapons: Can summon light and darkness and use both of them as destructive forces, or for healing. When at max power, I can cause a literal hurricane of darkness and light combined; making me a deadly enemy you don’t want to mess with. With normal human weapons, I can shoot any gun, but I prefer pistols and rifles.

Family: I live with my mother Arcelia, Queen of the Gods and my step-father Hosea, King of the Gods as well as my 15 younger brothers and sisters. My real father, Eliseo was the King of the Demons. My mother was a mortal woman until she met my dad and fell in love with him. They got married and had me, as well as two older siblings, Leola and Hark, which are the only siblings that I really trust, despite that I’ve lived with my other siblings for a longer period of time.

History: When Hosea saw my mother, he fell in love with her. When she didn’t accept his proposal on marriage, Hosea created a new law basically saying that no mortal with a good-heart was to be married to the demons. Therefore, Hosea took Arcelia to be his wife and forbade my mother and father to ever see each other again. My father, before I was taken away, gave me his part of his powers. The rules for both kingdoms was that you have to be at least 1300 years old (equivalent to 13 years old) to receive your given powers. I was only 10. When I turned 1300, I was given my powers from Hosea. He doesn’t know that I could control the darkness as well, so he let me take control of both powers without his knowledge. So as of right know, I am the most powerful God in the universe. I was going to be forced to marry one of my step-brothers by Hosea, when I decided “No”. I was planning on going through the portal to the Demon Lands, but Hosea destroyed it. So, I took the portal to the mortal world, hoping to find a portal to the Demon Lands where I can reunite with my father and siblings once more.

Appearance: I look very young, despite my age, and I have blonde hair (mother) and dark purple eyes, sometimes mistaken for black (father). I guess you could say that I have a scary-beautiful sort of look, and you could probably trace back from witch parent I got them from. I’m very agile and tough, and not afraid to say what’s on my mind, no matter what the consequences.

Personality: I am very bitchy and prefer to be alone, but near people (if that makes any sense?). Despite my attitude, I care about the people I know and trust and I am very protective of them.

Extra: I like to keep to a minimum about my past and my powers. Ever since I joined the mortal realm, Hosea has been searching for me. If I can make it into the Demon Lands, then I’ll be safe forever.
